Finding your path through complexity
Nemetics is a fractal code, evolved in a meta-language to facilitate communication among researchers in different disciplines in order to debate about complexity. The Transformation Society and the International Nemetics Institute have developed a Nemetic view of the current phenomena of Transmedia and Transliteracy, and have presented it as a paradigm for analysis of complex phenomena.

The Transformation Society collaborated with Friends of Education in Macedonia, to help teachers reflect on their own practices (Neus Lorenzo) and think about future technological challenges (Ray Gallon).
In Barcelona, The Transformation Society helped organise the second annual face-to-face #Xatac5 Conference. “Xatac5” is the first weekly moderated education chat in Spain where Catalan teachers debate education, language and technology.
This white paper by The Transformation Society was prepared for Adobe. It explores how content professionals are facing the breakdown of traditional boundaries that affect their subject matter as well as their professional functions. Among the issues that are influencing this evolution are: the disappearance of physical space, asynchrony of time, and the phenomenon of users as producers, including how consumers raise corporate consciousness.
In this white paper for Adobe, Ray Gallon and Neus Lorenzo explore how the evolution of communications technology has modified behaviour, culture, and value systems. Research going forward needs to focus on how the changing communicative context is affecting individuals, through their interconnection with electronic objects, and what transcendent values will define the collective vision of reality.
