Learning to Learn with Machines

In this article published in October 2019, in TC World Magazine, Ray Gallon explores different learning theories from recent past and present, in the light of new learning technologies driven by artificial intelligence (AI).

It’s a trip through ideas of cognitive science, from learning by doing, to Gestalt, Constructivism, Connectivism, and hybrid learning that joins humans and machines, both of whom must learn, each in a different manner. This poses certain pedagogical, social, and ethical challenges.
